Can you believe it? We are in the last 3 months of 2021. This year is definitely going down in the history books as another odd year, but how will you make history for this year? What is your contribution to 2021? Have you accomplished something that was on your vision board or on your list of goals?
I will admit, I didn’t have time to make any goals this year, however I did carry-over my goals from 2020 and I’m so excited I did. I’m on track to complete this year as my biggest revenue growing year since I began my business almost 7 years ago! You may be asking, how in the… did I manage to do this, I will sum it up in one word…perseverance.
At the beginning of this year, I was determined to grow my revenue. As I already mentioned, I didn’t accomplish my goals in 2020, it was all about surviving the year, but 2021 was going to be different. I could not control the outside world, but I definitely was going to control my internal world including my business.
Here we are, the 4th quarter, this is your last chance to make this year count and so I want to help you make it count by providing you with 3 tips to finish your year strong.
- Review your goals and your vision. How far are you from either of these? Life happens and you can get thrown off your path, but don’t stay there, get yourself back on track by reviewing your goals and vision and find a new route to achieve them.
- Getting close to achieving your goals is good. You may have gotten so far off track that you know there will be no way to achieve the goals you set for yourself and that’s absolutely okay. Don’t give up, keep going and do your best to get as close as you can…you have 3 months to get it…it does not have to be perfect.
- Plan for next year. You will want part of your goals for the 4th quarter to be planning for next year. This will help you feel like you have accomplished something and will give you the big picture of all the things you can start now to get a head start on accomplishing next year’s goals.
It’s so important to keep moving forward and allow yourself the time to do that. Three months is truly not a long time and the last thing I would want to do is stress you out to try and do something that’s impossible to do. We all need to forgive ourselves when life happens, and we simply need to keep going. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect – focus on making progress.
